I finally just saw the Beautiful Losers film that dropped a couple of years ago– a really nice film about the Mike Mills, Harmony Korine, Aaron Rose, Twist, etc. Definitely recommended viewing.

Around the time that the Beautiful Losers show came out, I learned about this collaborative shoe that Nike had made for it. They were a pretty hot item, Dunks were all too plentiful and the torch was being passed to Blazer 73s, and around a year or so after they reached their apex of sneaker-head desire I wondered into a second hand shop and found a pair on the shelves for around $15. I remember selling them around the time I moved to New York for some extra pocket cash, looks like people are still paying around $250 for a pair.
